Farmerama’s new Fences: A different design concept

Mee with Watering CanThe new fences have arrived and it would be worth your while reading how to use them.

New Fences

The fences are drawn at the side of the plot as opposed to the centre and actually sit along the “graph lines” of the field, between other items as in the following example.

They can be placed on all fields, including Bahamarama, and in the Park.

After an initial problem understanding that concept because of how the Official Announcement was originally written, we now like this concept… we like it VERY MUCH!! 🙂

We have noticed a few visual glitches while moving the fences around, such as spurious disappearance of plots around the field, but these were corrected by refreshing the screen using F5. There can be difficulties in getting at smaller plots behind them when trying to plant crops manually, but it would be hoped that Bigpoint will address this once the complaints start coming in.

The Fences are counted as Decorations and as such will be found under Decorative Items in the Supply Store and Decorations in your Inventory.

Some of them are available to buy for CC’s, while the better ones cost BB’s. Bumper Packs of 10 items are also available at a 30% Discount.

All in all we surprisingly find ourselves awarding Bigpoint a Star Tree for their efforts.
